Tutu & leopard spOts

I am indeed wearing a TUTU, a pretty sedate one I admit it, nothing too crazy going on here, but a bit of fun nonetheless ; )  None of my usual chain stores had a tutu, and a girl has to have a tutu, so I found this one online for an exceptionally good price.  I got to twiiiiiiirrll my way to dinner : )  Last time I wore a tutu was at a ballet recital when I was about 8 y/o- it was pink, it had layers, and layers of tulle, and it was wonderful!

The ginormous clutch I found at Asos, another recent online purchase- gee WIZZ.  I love it, all leather annnnddd it fits everything in it.  OH and the beautiful blue crystal is from Swarovski in lovely Vienna <sigh>.

OH OH- just joined TWITTER- there's a link over yonder (i.e. to the right) if you want to join me.

RED LIPS are everywhere I look and I'm in love with them- MWAH!  So I'm jumping on the bandwagon, and I think it will be a perfect bandwagon to jump on for the Aussie Autumn.  Beautiful Jodie at MAC on Chapel St hooked me up with just the right, not to scary, shade for me. It's called 'Lady Bug'- how cute is that! And this is my first venture with RED lips : )  I'm a little tentative but I'm going to give it a fair crack so I'm sure you will see this shade again in future.

NOW check out those heels- love them, love them, love them!! So hiiiiiigh : )

nerd glasses

Firstly thank you for all your amazing comments on my last post, I am just so overwhelmed by the reponse!

Headed out for dinner on Melbourne's Victoria Street with my hubby.  Wearing a cute little basic shift dress- it has pockets- I love a dress with pockets!!  The necklace is a glass perfume bottle which belonged to my Great Aunt Ada Elaine, and the ring belonged to my Grandma-  LOVE them!!

OH and I nearly forgot- my nerd glasses- $5 from Borders.  Barrrrgain!  Just for a bit of fun : )  Hubby and I took turns wearing them all night to the bemusement of our waiter.

Found some pretty blue light- ooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaa........... a bit artsy fartsy hey!

paperbag pants

Okay they are really paperbag shorts, but really paperbag pants just sounds better and I guess technically it's the same thing. These are brand new from Witchery and the first time I've worn them.  Shorts present a challenge to me so apart from the denim shorts these are the only other pair I own.

A beautiful sunny day out and about in wonderful Melbourne. OH and did I mention I got a haircut!! Just got a teeny bit off- doesn't it just make you feel a million bucks : )
And I found the most fabulous BLUE wall! Hours of fun to be had here ; )

Moomba & DIY

It's the Moomba Festival this long weekend in Melbourne, and it's HOT! Hubby and I grabbed our push bikes and headed in to join in the day's events.  These pics are in one of the fabulous graffiti lane ways in Melbourne.

The bracelet on my wrist I MADE! Learnt how to do this at HonetlyWTF.  I'm making more, experimenting with different size and colour hex nuts.

love hearts and spOts

Well we're into Aussie Autumn now and we have a warm sunny day, so damn it, I'm keeping those Summer dresses in the loop for a bit longer.  I love this dress, so flouncy and cute.  It's great plain- but hey that would be just too easy, so I have added a white singlet and done the good old scarf and belt trick again.

Last time I wore this dress was in.... Paris.  Click here to have a look.  Awwwwww.

Splashes of red

It's a bit gloomy today so a splash of RED is the perfect way to pep things up, don't you think!  How cute are these shiny red shoes. Once again I have to give the kudos to my clever hubby who got these for me for Chrissy a few years ago.  The red ring is one I bought from RhapsodyDesign at the Bus Depot Markets in Canberra- $10 I tell you!! I think I need to go and get one in every colour : )

I've tried to do something different with my hair for a change too.  A tad milk maid-y but hey, its a change from my usual pony tail ; )  What do you reckon?

Before I leave your for today I'd just like to give a quick shout out to lovely blogger Anna at South Molton St Style who has featured me in her post.  Thank you Anna!
