I have something a little bit different for you today...I know this is fashion blog BUT a stylish women should have a stylish home too!

Anna the Interior Designer behind Ethos Design recently approached me and offered to design a space in my own home- well given my recent news (see here), I thought what a perfect opportunity to get Anna's input on  revamping my study/spare room into a nursery.  Now, distance is not a problem- Anna and I communicated via email and Pinterest to come up with the final design.  The design kit also included a shopping list, paint colours and suggested layout.  Now I am looking forward to the fun art of actually putting the room together : )

I am so excited to be finally sharing this news with you...

I'M PREGNANT!!!

In fact I am now 21 weeks pregnant, so past the half-way mark with bub due to arrive on 1 April 2013- yes my baby will indeed be an April Fool ; )

I've kept it quiet for the last couple of months as we still had some family we wanted to tell in person.  And NOW I can also finally I can also explain why I was MIA throughout July/August/Sept- first trimester was a little rough with me turning an unpleasant shade of green and transforming into the amazing vomit girl.  Not fun- really not fun!  Thank you all for your patience with me during that time.  Now I am thankfully feeling great, loving my new and completely different figure and so incredibly excited about our impending arrival!!  

So what now for Michelle's Style File you ask?  Well, I won't be turning all mummy blogger on you, but you can expect to me to continue sharing my outfits- baby bump and all : )

This dress is one of three maternity pieces I have bought- yep that it is (thus far). This dress, a black pencil skirt for work and black Mavi jeans which will hopefully take me from work to play.  Three items I think I will be able to get great value for money for over the next few months!  Two more items I must track down quick smart is an outfit for my sisters picnic wedding in 2.5 weeks and some more respectable swimming togs.  Any suggestions are very welcome!!

Anyone for chocolate? GIVEAWAY

Have you ever discovered something wonderful and new? For me it has to be that ultimate pair of high heels  <sigh>.  You know that excitement you get when you find it something you instantly love and have to have!!

Today I have something new and rather wonderful to share with you that I have recently discovered....

chocolate....not just any chocolate but Cadbury Dairy Milk Mousse raspberry chocolate.  Smooth, creamy milk chocolate  filled with soft, melt in your mouth mousse and gooey raspberry coulis.   Not too sweet or rich- but just lovely! In fact my husband and I (okay, largely me- it really was too good to share) polished off the whole block in an evening.  That would be why Cadbury only sent me ONE block ; )
