Thailand- Colour overload

Day 2 is beautiful KOH SAMUI.  Despite terrible forecasts for the week, the weather was a dream the whole time!!  Today we headed into Chaweng- the main drag of Koh Samui.  So much colour and craziness, I loved it.  We spent the day poking along looking at shops and eating wonderful food before an afternoon massage, and cocktails by the pool.
Wearing Zara dress, Aldo necklace, Sportsgirl shoes and earrings.
Here's a look at the main street- see what I mean about COLOUR!! I love it : )

Thailand holidayyyyyy

Hi everyone- you may have noticed I have been a little quiet the last two weeks... that is because I've been on holidays in.... sunny THAILAND!! I've just got home to Melbourne so now it is time to tell you all about my wonderful holiday and the outfits along the way!
Dress & Sunnies: Witchery, Earrings: Sportsgirl, Rings: Rhapsody Design and  c/o  Colby June & The Fashion Writress
The first day was a long one: flying out of Melbourne at 11pm, getting very little sleep and arriving in KOH SAMUI at 10am. We checked out the beautiful resort and our local beach- moving very much in slow motion!

Green pleats

This is my new thrifted skirt- $7 and a lucky find : )  Was checking out my local Salvo's store for old Levi's to turn into denim shorts and when I spotted this skirt.  It's rather big and I've had to wrap it around a bit and secure with a brooch but its 100% wool, fully lined and a beautiful Autumn colour- I couldn't resist : )

Wearing it with my TWO new Asos purchases, the leopard print belt and THE CLAW.
I couldn't resist a TWIRL...
Skirt: thrifted, Top: Sportsgirl, Shoes: Aldo, Belt and Cuff: Asos, Earrings: Diva, Necklace: gift, Ring: RhapsodyDesign

These boots were made for walking...

...and that's what I'm gonna do!

These are my new winter boots and I LOVE them, they have a low heel (shock horror) and are so comfy I can walk allllll day.  I love the colour and am sure they will become an extremely versatile addition to my shoe collection! The blazer is reasonably new as well, from Cue, a bit of a longer line than my other black blazer.

THE CLAW is also out to play again, as it the fish plait : )

Jeans: Dotti, Jacket: Cue, Scarf: dthtchery, Top: Kookai, Boots: EOS, Cuff: Asos, Ring: Rhapsody Design

Meow

An absolutly glorious Melbourne Autumn day, perfect for girly catch ups.  Caught up with one of my best buddies for lunch and then visited my new friend I met in the blogesphere, Cecyclia at her boutique and spent the arvo chit chatting about fashionable things.

How cute is my kitty cat top- Purrrrrrrrrrrr. Some nerd glasses thrown in the mix today too : )

I'm a monkey

Heading out to dinner with my hubby in the city.  We were walking along Little Bourke Street in Melbourne when I spotted the location for these photos and like an excited monkey all I could do is point and say "Oo Oo Oo".  Thank goodness hubby got my drift and took these lovely photos for me.

I'm pictured outside Melbourne's iconic GPO.

DIY- Colour Block Bracelet- Part 2

Thanks a bunch for all your lovely comments on my last DIY HERE.  Here is the matching PART 2- even simpler and less materials required.

--------------------------------
DIY COLOUR BLOCK BRACELET

Just grab your bit of rope (free from your shopping bag handle) and 3 colours of cotton. That's it! It should cost you about 10 cents.
1. Wrap the rope around your wrist twice and then hold firmly as you squeeze it off- you need to get it the right size that it won't fall off, but so you can take it on and off!
2. Wind cotton tightly around the centre point and finish by threading the cotton back through with a needle.

3. Grab a contrasting colour of cotton and then wrap tightly a short space from the centre point.  Go over the end of the rope.  Finish by threading the cotton back through with a needle.

4. Grab another contrasting colour of cotton and wrap tightly on the other side of the centre point. Go over the end of the rope.  Finish by threading the cotton  back through with a needle.

5. Voila. Hoorah you are done. EASY AS PIE!!
6. Now... Wear it!

GOOD LUCK! Let me know how you go!!
