Here is my little guy Ash rocking his TOMS.  That big smile is thanks to one of our cats Chewy appearing around the corner, thanks Chewy :)

Did you that TOMS is committed to match every pair of shoes purchases with a new pair given to a child in need - One for One!  TOMS also have range of TOMS Eyewear and once again for every pair purchased, TOMS will help give sight to a person in need by providing prescription glasses, medial treatment and/or sight saving surgery.

To date, TOMS has given over 60 million pairs of shoes to children in need and has helped restore sight for over 400,000 people around the world. You can read more about this on their website.

Such a great cause that is really making a difference to many people.

Jeanswest Australian Wool Collection

Paris knit dress - Jeanswest
Alice cardigan - thanks to Jeanswest
Ebbony boots- Wittner (last season)
Necklace - thanks to Najo

Jeanswest latest collection for Autumn/Winter 2016, featuring pure Australian wool and extra fine Merino wool, is some of their best work.  And given the chill in the air lately, the timing couldn't be better. The value for money given these pieces are 100% wool is truly incredible and the quality exceptional.  I have seen acrylic versions of both this dress and cardigan elsewhere and they have been far more pricey.

I've been on the hunt for a dress that I could wear with over the knee boots and this is finally the one. I think it would also look great with black ankle boots and a leather jacket or even white Stan Smith's more an easy casual look.

The cardigan is another amazingly versatile piece, the wool is thick and super warm and a nice alternative to a blazer of a coat.  I know this piece is definitely going to be on high rotation and looks just as good layered over a shift dress as it does jeans.

On another note, anyone got any tips to make my boots stay up?!

Bell Sleeves

Dress- Decjuba
Heels- TopShop (old)
Earrings- Najo (here)
Clutch- Asos (old)

This is what I wore a couple of weekends ago for somewhat rare date night with my husband.  As soon as I saw this dress I needed to have it, so promptly tracked down one of the last ones available in my size and claimed it as mine! This skirt length is my most favourite on me, sophisticated and flattering and those sleeves- I say no more!

We headed to Chapel St and I had a list of about five restaurants I was really keen to check out... none of which you could book.  Well Chapel St was bustling to say the least! We went from restaurant to restaurant only to be told there would be a two hour wait each time and THEN ... Grill'd caught my eye with its hip vibe, vacant tables and no lines ups! Done deal!!!  Definitely booking next time though ;)

Pink

Top - Sportsgirl (similar here)
Heels- Boohoo (similar here)
Sunnies - RayBan

It was such a windy day at the Docklands and South Wharf on Anzac Day.  I have no idea why I attempted wearing my hair out, but anyhoo, SO good to have some sunshine and short sleeve weather in April, in Melbourne!

My mission for visiting the Docklands was to visit a new park I had heard about, Ron Barassi Senior Park. SO cool check this pic HERE.  Talk about a view, plus the slides are really steep and fast!  Just saying, I may have deafened poor little Ash, who was in my lap, with my screams as we went down.

I can hear you thinking, were you seriously at a playground in those heels? And truthfully, no I wasn't.  I wore black espadrilles for playing and walking and then we stopped at South Wharf for lunch and pics (and heels).

Ash

Tee- Big W (old)
Shorts- Cotton On Kids
Sunnies- thanks to Sunnies.com.au

I realised that the last photos of Ash on my blog he has long hair! Well we finally took the plunge and got it cut a couple of months ago just before he turned three in late March. Yes, THREE!  I love his new do, and cannot believe how handsome and grown up he looks!!!  Ash was obviously chuffed with his new look too as when I asked if I could take it photo he said "Stand here mummy?" and promptly stood in place and grinned his head off!   Now that is unusual, normally taking pics of Ash is a little more challenging with the 'fast motion' setting of the camera and my running shoes most certainly on.

On another note, I had no idea how hard it would be to style! The first time I used wax in his hair I sent him off to childcare looking like a piedgeon had pooped in there and tried to make a nest.... :/
am improving thankfully ;)  Hats off to you mums who have got this figured out- all hints and tips welcome.

I will point out Ash's Saltwater sandals as I think they are fantastic. I have exactly the same pair so can vouch for the comfort factor.  Since we got them from Bstore in December, Ash has worn these most days over the last 5 months, and everyday during the Summer months, and they are still going strong.  Some might balk at the price tag but given how well these have worn I would definitely recommend them, great value for money!

More of Ash and our adventures over on Instragram :)
