Style Stalker

Heels- Zara (loving these)
Sunnies- Sportsgirl (similar here)
Earrings- Sportsgirl (simliar here)

I simply adore this print, beautiful deep blues with just the right amount of black and white accents, and I love how the long sleeves give this dress such a sophisticated edge despite it being so short.  Style Stalker have a blazer in this print too which I have been eyeing off for quite some now too!

These pics were Bali, where I was lucky enough to spend a week there for a friends wedding- a wonderful relaxing time. This dress is what I wore for the hens night which was a very classy affair at Bali Rock Bar. Dopey Dora me forgot to take my camera there, but you can check out the bar website here- soooooo amazing!!

Sangria

Heels- Country Road (similar)
Necklace- Sportsgirl (similar)
Cuffs- H&M (similar)
Sunnies- Rayban

These pics are actually taken in Bali, where I have been lucky enough to spend the last week there for a friends wedding- my husband was in the bridal party so we HAD to go ; )  It was a wonderful relaxing time with friends and the wedding itself was so much fun with every guest (including myself) being physically thrown in the pool wedding attire and all- the bride and her beautiful dress went in too!!

A colourful maxi is a must for a beach getaway- so easy to wear, yet somehow still instantly glamorous for that dinner on the beach at sunset.  Paper Scissors Frock are THE maxi dress specialist any have heaps of styles to choose from- you can see the last time I wore one of their dresses HERE.

I also thought I would take this opportunity to show you some pics from an event I attended recently with fellow Melbourne bloggers Cecylia, Iolanthe and Sarah.  We were seated front row at personal stylist Cindy Newstead's Style Review runway show where seven of her clients ranging in ages 25 to 55, and sizes 6 to 16, showcased a series of stunning Autumn/Winter looks.
Great inspiration for the cooler weather ahead of us!

Gingerbread Shop

Cuffs- H&M (similar at Asos)
Heels- Zara (similar at Asos)

These pics are from last Sunday, taken at Bridge Road, Richmond where we stopped for a hamburger lunch on a rainy Melbourne day.  A big juicy hamburger is something I so rarely have so it was such a delicious treat and did end up all over my face, and thankfully NOT on my lovely shirt ; )  When the rain let up for one moment it was all systems GOOOOOO to grab these snaps, and just as we finished the rain began again!

How fun is this blouse, I love the puffy sleeves and double peter-pan collar, something very charming about it; and these high waisted pants are just the thing that was missing from my wardrobe.  I can't wait to try them with my Topshop bralet top for a completely different look.

There is STILL TIME to enter my giveaway!

Smoking slipper

Bracelet- PeepToe (loving this one)
Necklace- Sportsgirl (similar here from Asos)
Blazer- Bardot (similar here from Asos)
Jeans- Saba

After arriving back this morning from a week away in Bali, on an overnight flight with very little sleep, heels were clearly a dangerous option- but with errands to run and feeling desperate for a good coffee, leopard print slippers were just the thing for a quick jaunt into Melbourne city.  These pics were taken on Collins Street before diving into the city laneways for that coffee- Bliss!

I've seen this smoking slipper style popping up everywhere lately, such a great alternative to the ballet flat.

p.s. I have a couple of outfit posts from Bali coming soon : )

Fashionopolis

Bracelet, thanks to PeepToe shoes
Shirt- Country Road (similar here)
Pants- Sportsgirl (craving these!)
Heels- Zara (loving these!)

Last weekend I was fortunate enough to be a guest at Nuffnang Fashionopolis, Australia's very first fashion blogger industry event hosted by the Nuffnang team and the lovely Lady Melbourne.  It was such a fantastic day where I got to learn more about the business of blogging, catch up with my fellow Aussie fashion bloggers, and finally meet the person behind the blog face to face in many instances!!   Of course a gathering of fashion bloggers is a wardrobe crisis inducing event so I kept it pretty simple with leather pants and a silk shirt- of which I did manage to spill my coffee on during the day : /

You can find the Nuffnang Fashionopolis link up and all the blog posts by other bloggers who attended HERE!
Here are some of my pics of the day, can you spot some familiar faces below : )

And finally, don't forget about my GIVEAWAY!

House of Holland

Scarf- Sportsgirl (simliar)
Heels- Zara
Blazer- Cue (simliar)
Tee- Marcs

If I could only have one word to describe these jeans it's cool.  I can't explain it, but there is just something seriously cool about them!  And now that I have checked out the House of Holland bio it turns out that coolness was indeed the aim of the designer with the House of Holland girl being described as is "cool, confident and savvy"!!  A girl can only try : )

These jeans are from How Now Madam Cow- an online boutique who can always be counted on to provide the latest and greatest pieces for the season while maintaining that classic look- just like these jeans!  How Now Madam Cow also provides a personal advice service, which came in very handy when trying to figure out what would be the best size for me in these jeans.

In terms of these fabulous tie-dyed cloud like print jeans, the fabric is a nice thick denim and with 2% elastane they have a bit of stretch. I would say they give probably half a size with wear (as denim usually does).  All the hardware is brass which is such a lovely touch and lends itself to rose gold jewellery perfectly.  They sit high on the waist with a slim fit making for a very flattering silhouette and are available in sizes 6-14.  Check them out here.

On another note, I look forward to seeing all you Aussie fashion bloggers at
Fashionopolis this Saturday right here in Melbourne!!

JUNK

Bag- Wayne by Wayne Cooper (Myer)

How fabulous is this cape! I feel sooo cosy and it is the most gorgeous shade of red- just the thing now that the cold weather has really kicked in here in Melbourne.

This is what I wore on Sunday to the Walk In Wardrobe fashion market held at Boda Haircutters, Greville St, Prahran.   Walk In Wardrobe was established by gorgeous Melbourne girls Angie and Meg as an annual event to raise money for charity.  This year proceeds went to Kiss Goodbye to MS, an iniative of MS Australia to raise funds for vital research into a cure and support services.  A cause very dear to my heart.

The kiss on my jacket is the symbol of Kiss Goodbye to MS.
WEAR RED LIPSTICK, DARE OTHERS TO GO RED.

Here are a few pics from the markets:
