Jeanswest Active

Active LS top - thanks to Jeanswest
Vest- Uniqlo (similar here)
My number one stop for jeans, Jeanswest, has now launched an Active range which I'm wearing head to toe above.   As always with Jeanswest, the focus is on functional and stylish garments, but this active range is made from performance fabrics that look and feel great.  If you are interested in sizing, I'm wearing the XS in the leggings and S in the crop and top which is the smallest size.  I could would've gone a size smaller on the crop if an XS was available.

Now to my lovely new sneakers! When you know your size and the brands you like, the best prices really are online.  Millet Sports, my most recent discovery, have an extensive collection of running shoes and stock all the major brands including adidas, Asics, Nike, New Balance and Puma for men, women and children.

Long sleeved lace

Lace blouse- thanks to Rosegal
Jeans- Jeanswest (similar here)
 Necklace- Harmonyballs.com.au
Shoes- Witchery (similar luxe, or less)

Another cheap and cheerful top, with this one coming in at less than $13 with free shipping from Rosegal.  You cannot go wrong!  Oh, well actually you could, be sure to size up.  Based on others reviews I went for a medium in this style and would usually be small.

I fallen in love with these shoes, how cute are they! Looking pretty similar in my mind to the Valentino Rockstud Espadrille, I got these from Witchery on the weekend, on sale, for $40! Stoked!! And they work beautifully with this little clutch by Jeanswest, which also comes with a long strap so you can wear it as a cross body style.

Biker boots

 Aja skinny jeans- Jeanswest (here)
Maggie linen tee- Jeanswest (here)
Icebreaker Skyline trench- NatureShop (here)
Blanket scarf- SuperDry (old, similar here)
Ginger bag- thanks to Louenhide (on SALE!)
Watch- Nixon (here)
Sunnies- RayBan

I've always wanted my blog to represent what's I do actually wear, to really show how particular pieces translate to everyday wear as a busy working mum, rather than dress up just to take a photograph.  This is what I wore for a trip to Werribee Zoo with Master Ashley on the weekend.  It was really cold so this Icebreaker wool coat (investment piece! via NatureShop) that I've had for three years was perfect, especially layered with a cardigan underneath and this warmest of warm blanket scarf.   These boots from Misano Shoes are the first FLAT ankle boots I've owned, clearly something my wardrobe has been missing because I wear them heaps! So easy to pull on, practical and comfortable while giving my outfit an edge.

You might have noticed I have been wearing Jeanswest a fair bit lately.  Yes, I have been gifted a couple of pairs of jeans and several other pieces which I will always be open about, but the jeans (also seen here) and top I'm wearing above I purchased and this is post is not sponsored by them.  I'm finding that Jeanswest jeans are absolutely amazing and pretty much the main thing I wear now.  Why you ask? They have just the right amount of stretch, maintain their shape really well, are very comfortable and the 7/8 are the perfect length.  I always go for the mid-rise which sits nicely just below the bellybutton.

Bohemia wrap

Aja skinny jeans- Jeanswest (here)
Boots- Aldo (old, similar luxe here, or bargain on sale here)
Maggie bag- thanks to Louenhide (on SALE!)
Sunnies- RayBan

Wearing today this lovely wrap new in at Jeanswest.  It's a trend I really like this Winter, and I absolutely adore the colours and removable faux fur collar with this option. Paired today with simple black jeans, rose gold accessories and a classic black bag.

These pics were taken at the Koala Conservation Centre at Phillip Island.  There are a couple of short board walks amongst the treetops, closer to the koalas, as well as a short woodland walk which is very pretty as you can see.

Izabel

Coat- Choies (similar here)
Woollen scarf- NatureShop
Icebreaker cardigan- NatureShop
Sherwood tote- thanks to Louenhide
Boots- Witchery (old, similar here)
Earrings (old, similar here)
Sunnies- RayBan

This embroidered cotton blouse, now on sale for only $20 from Izabel, would be so perfect for Summer, but it is still possible to make pieces like this work all year around.   It's all about the art of layering and making the most of natural fibers like wool; something I think Melbournians have perfected!! Today I've layered up with a warm wool cardigan underneath the coat and added a wool scarf.  These knee high tan leather boots would be nearly 10 years old now, all leather, they fit like a glove and are so comfy! It just shows classic quality pieces really do stand the test of time.

I might also add that Louenhide where my bag is from, are having an insane sale online now.  Well worth a look with most bags under $50!!!

Heels- Tony Bianco
Bangle- thanks to Najo Jewellery

Being a little bolder today with this crop by Staple The Label available via Glue Store; there is a matching wrap skirt too which really caught my eye!

Glue Store offers cutting-edge fashion from international and local brands including Cameo, Adidas, Finders Keepers, Miss Selfridge, Nobody and One Teaspoon-  all available online.  New pieces are uploaded daily and can be delivered to the Sydney metro area within 3 hours!!  What I love most when shopping online is seeing the clothes on an actual person, Glue Store have taken that to the next level with a catwalk video with a 360 degree view on a wide range of apparel.

Customer Service is another big factor for me when shopping on line.  Glue Store have a live chat option for instant assistance, plus delivery is free for orders over $75.  Returns are easy too, and can be made in store for online purchases.
