Antila

Dannii Minogue Petites jacket- Target (here)
Heels- Tony Bianco (similar here)
Mezi Copacabana necklace- thanks to I Love Lola
Sunnies- RayBan (here)

This pretty summery dress is new in from Antila Clothing, the hand printed cotton is so lightweight and beautiful, perfect for the warmer months ahead.  This dress is certainly designed as a more casual piece and would look great with its sleeves rolled up and paired with flat sandals.  Today to show you a different take on how to style this dress I've hitched up the length, added a sharp blazer, killer heels and a statement necklace.

Talking about this necklace its from I Love Lola, THE place to go for statement necklace.  I Love Lola currently have a Facebook competition where you can win a year's supply of statement necklaces worth $1200.  Head to their Facebook page HERE to find out more.

Flannel shirt- Big W
Puffer vest- Target
Pants- Minti (similar here)

I discovered Melbourne label Acorn Kids last Winter when I was on the hunt for a beanie for Ash.  Acorn have such had such a gorgeous range of beanies, mittens and knitwear all made from merino wool.  See Ash in the Little Devil beanie HERE, Mr Fox beanie HERE, Cable Knit beanie HERE and  Block Party vest and mittens HERE.

Now Acorn Kids have launched their Summer hats range for little people and this tiny trucker cap is my favourite pick of the bunch.  Ash's to- this is the only hat he'll put on his head!!  These pics were taken outside the Melbourne Museum which visited on a drizzly cool Melbourne Spring day.   Well worth a visit, there was heaps for us to look at and lots of interesting spaces to explore.

Supre jeans

Top- Zimmerman (loving this top, now on sale!)
 Bag- Zara (old, similar here)
Gold bangle- Sussan (similar here)
Gold ring (similar here)

How good are these jeans! They are actually Supre!!  In my late teens and early 20's, oh boy did I shop at Supre a lot, now 15 or so years on, it's a shop that I rarely visit.  But when they offer fantastic basics like these distressed boyfriend jeans, for only $40 one would be crazy to walk by.

I've worn this top on the blog before, see here, unfortunately it is last season and seems to be sold out everywhere now.  I've linked some similar options below for you.  And of course these fabulous Misano sandals deserve a special mention.  Such a classic style, with thick patent black leather straps, and the perfect heel height; these beauties are made in Italy and incredibly comfy!  They also come in white.

Milky Foot review

Sandal weather is here, so it's time to get those feet in tip top shape.  I recently received a fab little Summer Survival kit which included  Milky Foot Intense Exfoliation Pads and Spotner.  I've seen the ads on tv about Milky Foot so was pretty curious to try it myself.

First step is to don these funny exfoliation socks, which are filled with the active ingredients, and put your feet up.  Actually don't put your feet up, you need to keep them on the ground so the formula stays in contact with your feet.  I also put socks over the top to help them stay in closer contact with my feet.  The instructions say to keep them on for 45-60 minutes, so I did the full 60 minutes.  Afterwards my feel felt so fresh! Like your mouth after Listerine ;)

The instructions advise that the peeling would begin around 3-5 days, but nothing was happening on my feet so I seriously thought it wasn't going to work.  Low and behold on day six the intense peeling began.  And over about 2-3 days all that rough, hardened skin came right of to reveal lovely soft skin underneath.  By ten days my feet were good as new.

It is SO much easier than rubbing away with a pumice stone or foot file, and I would certainly use it again.  However, I would recommend perhaps having some nail polish on to protect your toe nails as mine became a bit brittle afterwards.

Milky Foot pads are available in both regular and large sizes in pharmacies for around $30.

Merino Baby

This is part two of my blog posts for Merino Baby starring my little guy Ash.  Love that little sleepy face!

Today I'm sharing with you this fantastic sleeping bag.  Since Ash was six months he has been in a sleeping bag for all sleep times- it's such a fantastic sleep signal for him.  I've stuck with Bonds summer and winter versions to date because they are cheap and easy, plus I got so bamboozled by all the options available online.  Well now I've discovered Merino Baby's sleeping bags I can highly recommend them.  The biggest draw card for me is that they are made of a natural fibre, 100% super fine Australian merino wool in fact.  The fabric beautifully soft and machine washable, an absolute must!  I've put this sleeping bag through the wash a couple of times now following, um ah, overnight poop explosions (TMI- sorry) and it's come up good as new.

Design wise I'm impressed, the zip opens both up and down, making it easy for stealthy night time nappy changes; the arm holes have an extra stud so you can make them tighter around the arms if need be; and there is plenty of length.  Ash is 19 months and has plenty of space left in the 12-24 month size.  Another plus for me it that Ash has figured out how to get out of his Bonds sleeping bag, which he tends to do if he is a bit restless.  He stands up and pulls down on each side until he pops the studs open then climbs on out, he is then pretty unlikely to fall asleep until he's back in the bag.  But with this design there are two arm holes, and the zipper up the front.  I zip it from top down and he's nice and secure in the bag.

There are seven colour/print options and a padded version is also available.

Check out Ash wearing Merino Baby hoddie and cardigan here, plus more about all the amazing benefits of wool.

Don't forget there is still time to enter my giveaway.

This is my third outfit post featuring Bohemian Traders, the maker of effortless threads for the modern bohemian.  Their pieces have quickly become high on rotation in my weekend wardrobe- see this white blouse here, and this striped tee here.  And now this gorgeous oversized striped dress with its beautiful high quality cotton fabric, the zip detail up the back, and my fav; deep pockets (which quickly fill with random toy dinosaurs, and airplanes)!

I should add that the long sleeved version has been seen on the stunning Elle Ferguson of They All Hate Us- see here.
