Pilgrim for Spring Racing- Derby Day

Miss Peaseblossom heels- thanks to PeepToe
Head piece- on loan from Amelda Millinery
Bag- Zara (similar)
Cuff- Mezi

Finally, I can share with you my special project with Pilgrim Clothing!!  As their Spring Racing style ambassador my task was to create three looks for Melbourne Spring Racing- Oaks Day, Derby Day and Melbourne Cup.

To celebrate Spring Racing, Pilgrim have also launched a Pin to Win competition.  Up for grabs are three fabulous $250 vouchers!  Find all the details HERE.

Today I thought I would share with you my first look for Derby Day, coming up on 3 November 2012.  Traditionally, black and white has been the prominent colour scheme for women on Derby day so I thought this black and white dress from Pilgrim would be perfect! AND, the white slip underneath can be swapped for any other colour to create a completely different look.  For an elegant look I paired this dress with these stunning (and very comfy) pumps by PeepToe and a classic head piece by Amelda Millinery.

Boticca

How sweet is this tiny gold initial necklace from Boticca.

Boticca is an online boutique for unique jewellery and fashion accessories by top emerging designs from all around the world.  This particular piece is from BijouxBar by Vivien Frank all the way from Switzerland and is no doubt my new everyday necklace.

The tiny gold disc is 24k gold, with a 14k gold chain- and of course you can choose whatever letter you would like! Naturally I got am 'M' for Michelle.

Rest of my outfit soon : )

Boots- thanks to RMK
Pants- Sportsgirl (similar here)
Necklace- Sportsgirl (loving this one)

I'm so excited that Spring is finally here and it's time to start losing the coats!  There is no doubt about it, a sunny day makes me happy : )  This is what I wore last weekend, I love how the necklace picks up the neon colour in the shirt too.

On another note I'm currently working on a special project with one of my favourite Australian fashion labels, Pilgrim.  I can't wait to share it with you!

Mint

Bracelets- PeepToe, Saba & Asos (here)
Jeans- Zara (similar here or here)
Heels- Zara (loving these)
Tee- borrowed from my husband : )

Mint is really such a pretty colour, so perfect with grey and gunmetal... and probably my only venture into the pastel trend : )

Now look at that long hair!
I guess there is no hiding that these pics were taken a couple of months ago, pre-haircut.

the 7 senses

Tote- thanks to Ooh La La Accessories
Black flower blouse- thanks to The7Senses
Traisie heels- thanks to Steve Madden
Jeans- Zara (similar)

Another fabulous piece from NatureShop- this fabulous sweater is part of the leisure wear range as always with Icebreaker it is 100% wool and of such amazing quality.  I love the gradient-effect of the collar which actually looks like a scarf and certainly feels as snug as one.  This sweater even has an inner pocked with a media cord hole for headphones- so clever!  The perfect piece for those inbetween season Spring and Autumn.
