Currently craving

Mary Katrantzou Babelona bael-print dress
Mulberry Holiday Bayswater bag
Day Birger Saralane double bracelets
Charlotte Olympia Daryl shell suede shoes

My newest discovery- Matches Fashion online boutique.  Stocking the best international designer clothes, shoes and accessories I've certainly been a little tempted as I browsed through their range of cutting edge fashion pieces.

With prints being such a key trend this season this multi-tone print dress really caught my eye- such a stand out piece! Paired with these stunning coral-pink pumps, a high-voltage yellow tote and topped off with double cuffs it makes for a classic yet bold look that I love.

I love how Matches Fashion has dedicated pages to key SS12 key trends.  There is an entire section headed 'The it dresses', dedicated to playing dress ups in a statement dress- what more could a girl want.   Amazing prints and silhouettes from a number of designers including Diane Von Furstenberg, Lanvin, Stella McCartney and Yves Saint Lauren to name a few.  Another section is headed 'Sweet Dreams' and is filled with pretty pastel and candy colour pieces- so sweet indeed.

My favorite section has to be 'Fancy Pants' - palazzo trousers, gorgeous prints, lace and silk- comfy pants galore!

Orange & pink

Shirt- Country Road
Pants- Saba

Matchy, matchy from head to toe!  I couldn't believe how well the my shirt and pants matched these Steve Madden two toned heels.  Add my chartreuse Saba bag, layers of gold jewellery and my very bright, colour block combo is complete!

These pics were taken after a relaxing day at the beach and in the pool.  I threw together this relaxed combo with a quick easy bun and just a bit of bronzer before a night out in Surfers Paradise where we found these incredible flood lights by the beach!  I couldn't resist a night photoshoot for something different.

Fancy pants

nekclace- Dotti
clutch- Colette
top- Mango

I'm sure you guys have been seeing these pants everywhere in the blogoshere, and I'm afraid I have indeed jumped on the wagon too.  Only the petite sizes were left when I ordered these recently, which means they come a little shorter in the leg, but I love this cropped length- especially with sky high heels!  Mind you if my dad saw me he would probably say "is the tide coming in?" Heh, heh! Dad jokes ; )

Delivery was amazingly quick, arriving safe and sound in only four business days.  The fabric is lovely and sturdy and I'm really happy with the quality of these pants.  Asos has a wide range of coats too and I know there is one in this very same print which is rather tempting!

Now with Asos based in Australia returns are so easy, something that is very reassuring when purchasing online.

Soooo, you may have noticed that ADORABLE baby sitting in my lap there.... my husband and I caught up with some dear friends of ours and their 7 month old little girl, Alexis, last weekend.  After lunch we went for a walk and couldn't resist sitting amongst the bougainvillea flowers which matched my pants and shoes perfectly! Of course I couldn't resist another cuddle of the baby : )

Sienna Satchel

One of the trends I am loving at the moment is clashing prints! When this strapless floral Lulu and Rose dress from Glue Store arrived on my doorstep I immediately thought of my new floral Zara blazer.  The different size floral prints seem to work beautifully together and the key colours are very similar. OH, and the dress has pockets!!!

On another note, you have to admit this amazing mini Sienna Satchel from SABA really is the ultimate arm candy!  I fell head over heels for the chartreuse suede, but it also comes in ink and tan leather- such rich hues simply perfect for our Aussie Autumn.  Now the best bit... you can customise this satchel with different colours leather/chain straps and leather tassels for mix and match freedom.  I've added the chain strap to mine, plus a chartreuse tassel and an ink tassel. LOVE it!!

Check out this cute video on how you can mix and match here:

Buy it now; Love it forever!

Peplum by Pilgrim

Heels- Zara

How elegant and feminine is this dress! I just love the shoulder bow detail as well as the fabulous peplum skirt- makes for such an amazing silhouette.  I must add that this dress is made and designed right here in Melbourne, Australia and is also available in black.  I added classic black pumps, gold accessories and red lippy for an elegant and feminine look.

Pilgrim has channeled old Hollywood glamour in designing a selection of cocktail hour worthy pieces- this dress being one of them.  Oozing luxury, structured styles in opulent fabrics ensure classic ladylike elegance.    You can view the entire range online at Pilgrim.

These pics are taken at the Docklands where I attended the L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival Runway 7 on Wednesday night.  As you can see there was the most spectacular sunset which made my golden dress glow! This was my very first fashion Australian fashion show EVER and I thought this cocktail dress would be just the thing!  Here's some pics of the show...

Next

I had to have a booty shot, or two ; )
Silk shirt- Country Road
Necklace- Colette
Heels- Zara

I was so excited when UK brand Next chose me as one of ten Aussie fashion bloggers to complete in a 'style off' against ten of Britain's best as part of the Next International Style Challenge- Brit's v the Aussies.  I received this fabulous red pencil skirt from the Next SS12 collection for my styling challenge, and who doesn't love a styling challenge!

My style I would describe as feminine and classic with a modern twist.  I love a really polished look. The skirt, the shirt and the black pumps are all such classic shapes and styles; I added the modern twist and a bit of fun with the addition of the bright silk shirt, oversize leopard print clutch, gold hardware and of course a smile : )

Gooooo Aussies!!
