How cool are these shoes, high-tops with a 3.5 inch heel! Brand new in at Steve Madden this month.  LOVE them!  I also must point out this fabulous iPhone cover, those cute little partying cats make me smile every time I look at it : )

This is what I wore the other weekend to the matinee performance of Barry Humphries 'Eat Pray Laugh'.  It was the only show I was able to get tickets for, and his second last performance in Melbourne.  We may have been the youngest folk in the audience but I am SO glad we made it,  I absolutely love Dame Edna- a true Aussie icon, and we were in hysterics the entire show.

After arriving back this morning from a week away in Bali, on an overnight flight with very little sleep, heels were clearly a dangerous option- but with errands to run and feeling desperate for a good coffee, leopard print slippers were just the thing for a quick jaunt into Melbourne city.  These pics were taken on Collins Street before diving into the city laneways for that coffee- Bliss!

I've seen this smoking slipper style popping up everywhere lately, such a great alternative to the ballet flat.

Can you see the bee?  He's right there, hovering in front of my skirt in the first pic- I think I may have actually made eye contact with in that very moment the photo was captured.  Despite all manner of begging and pleading he continued to toy with me, causing me to pull ridiculous expressions and leap around like a woman possessed just as my photograph was being taken- cheeky fellow! THEN it started raining.  So thanks to Mr Bee, strange expressions and all, these are my pics for today : )

On another note I'm in love with these boots, no doubt they will be my Autumn/Winter staple.

One of the trends I am loving at the moment is clashing prints! When this strapless floral Lulu and Rose dress from Glue Store arrived on my doorstep I immediately thought of my new floral Zara blazer.  The different size floral prints seem to work beautifully together and the key colours are very similar. OH, and the dress has pockets!!!

On another note, you have to admit this amazing mini Sienna Satchel from SABA really is the ultimate arm candy!  I fell head over heels for the chartreuse suede, but it also comes in ink and tan leather- such rich hues simply perfect for our Aussie Autumn.  Now the best bit... you can customise this satchel with different colours leather/chain straps and leather tassels for mix and match freedom.  I've added the chain strap to mine, plus a chartreuse tassel and an ink tassel. LOVE it!!

Last weekend hubby and I headed into the Victorian high country for a mini getaway.  We stayed at Bright for a couple of nights and found it to be such a sweet town!  These pics were taken on the balcony of our little hut in the bush before we went out to dinner at Sagana's Thai restaurant.  We received the most amazing service, and got to see an awesome spectacular lightning show.
