Melbournite

Kyla Boxy Knit top - Soon Maternity
Jeans- Jeanswest
Boots- Wittner (similar here)
Ray Ban sunnies- thanks to VisionDirect

This outfit for today started with these gorgeous boots, I really wanted to get in some more wears before the weather starts warming up! Mind you in Melbourne this week warmer weather still seems to be a long, long way off and coats are definitely still in high rotation.

This knit is one of my old maternity pieces which I have found to be quite versatile. Last seen on the blog when I was 9 months pregnant and freaking huge!  It's still available at Soon in black and navy, and is currently on sale.  (And for the record no I am not pregnant!)

Jeanswest Australian Wool Collection

Paris knit dress - Jeanswest
Alice cardigan - thanks to Jeanswest
Ebbony boots- Wittner (last season)
Necklace - thanks to Najo

Jeanswest latest collection for Autumn/Winter 2016, featuring pure Australian wool and extra fine Merino wool, is some of their best work.  And given the chill in the air lately, the timing couldn't be better. The value for money given these pieces are 100% wool is truly incredible and the quality exceptional.  I have seen acrylic versions of both this dress and cardigan elsewhere and they have been far more pricey.

I've been on the hunt for a dress that I could wear with over the knee boots and this is finally the one. I think it would also look great with black ankle boots and a leather jacket or even white Stan Smith's more an easy casual look.

The cardigan is another amazingly versatile piece, the wool is thick and super warm and a nice alternative to a blazer of a coat.  I know this piece is definitely going to be on high rotation and looks just as good layered over a shift dress as it does jeans.

On another note, anyone got any tips to make my boots stay up?!
