Peplum by Pilgrim

Heels- Zara

How elegant and feminine is this dress! I just love the shoulder bow detail as well as the fabulous peplum skirt- makes for such an amazing silhouette.  I must add that this dress is made and designed right here in Melbourne, Australia and is also available in black.  I added classic black pumps, gold accessories and red lippy for an elegant and feminine look.

Pilgrim has channeled old Hollywood glamour in designing a selection of cocktail hour worthy pieces- this dress being one of them.  Oozing luxury, structured styles in opulent fabrics ensure classic ladylike elegance.    You can view the entire range online at Pilgrim.

These pics are taken at the Docklands where I attended the L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival Runway 7 on Wednesday night.  As you can see there was the most spectacular sunset which made my golden dress glow! This was my very first fashion Australian fashion show EVER and I thought this cocktail dress would be just the thing!  Here's some pics of the show...

And finally, don't forget my giveaway to WIN your very own and very amazing Estilo Emporio LA Box Bag, just like mine above, from the lovely folk at In Her Shoes Boutique.

Pilgrim

Wedges- Nine West
Sunnies- Sportsgirl
Necklace- vintage

LOVE, love, love this playsuit, it has to be one of my favourite pieces in Pilgrim's current range.
Such a flattering neckline, and the loose fitting shorts WITH pockets make it the perfect Summer piece.  I wore this last Saturday for lunch out on Chapel St with my hubby, but this Pilgrim playsuit could so easily be dressed up with killer heels and a blazer for a completely different look.
OH and it is made and designed right here in Melbourne!!

Every girl needs a just a touch of leopard print in their life and this handbag, new in at Myer this month from Wayne by Wayne Cooper, is just the thing.  Also designed in Melbourne!

And finally here are some pics from a recent event I was lucky enough to receive an invite to - the official launch of fashion media website Couturing.com, held in the gorgeous surrounds of at Melbourne's GPO.

Designed in Melbourne

Necklace- Colette

On Sunday afternoon I attended the launch of local designer, Cathleen Jia's latest collection hosted by Thom and Lisa from Couturing.  After a grey morning we were blessed with a gorgeous sunny afternoon in the very pretty surrounds of Domain Flowers, the most perfect venue and suited Cathleen's flirty and feminine designs to a tea!  It was also so lovely to catch up with the designer herself, Cecylia, Kelly and Jess, and to meet many of Cathleen's friends as well as Kyra of Pybus PR and Jane Hayes.

I wore this very elegant and feminine cocktail dress from Australian fashion label Pilgrim Clothing which was designed AND made right here in Melbourne!  Such a classic style and I love the little flippy hemline.  I should add it is fully lined and the quality is simply beautiful.

My bag from Ooh La La is also designed here in Melbourne!  Again a really classic, feminine style, annnd my ballet flats fit perfectly in the sateen lined outside pockets, doesn't get better than that does it : )

Here are some pics from the launch:

Now don't forget there is still time to enter my giveaway to win your very own cuff, the same as mine, from Australian jewellery label Mezi!
