Skirt day

Have you entered my GIVEAWAY?  See my previous post, or click HERE!!

Off to the movies with my hubby on this cold and gloomy Melbourne winters day.  We saw the final Harry Potter movie- really great if anyone hasn't seen it yet (although I suspect I'm one of the last)!  Stopped for coffee before hand where my nerd glasses were tried on by all the cafe staff- hee hee.

I have realised that apart from at work, I hardly wear skirts at all so I will be making a concious effor to inject some more skirt action into my outfits : )  This one I picked up half price from Portmans last weekend- love it!!  Long sleeved black top, grey jumper and leather jacket are adding some warmth to this look.
Ring bling: c/o Coby June & The Fashion Writress, Rhapsody Design and vintage.
Steve Madden heels (current season), Skirt from Portmans, Zara jumper, Sportsgirl leather jacket
Nerd glasses from Borders Bookstore.

Remember, my fabulous readers, I have some MORE exciting things in store for you soon so.... STAY TUNED!

Green pleats

This is my new thrifted skirt- $7 and a lucky find : )  Was checking out my local Salvo's store for old Levi's to turn into denim shorts and when I spotted this skirt.  It's rather big and I've had to wrap it around a bit and secure with a brooch but its 100% wool, fully lined and a beautiful Autumn colour- I couldn't resist : )

Wearing it with my TWO new Asos purchases, the leopard print belt and THE CLAW.
I couldn't resist a TWIRL...

These boots were made for walking...

...and that's what I'm gonna do!

These are my new winter boots and I LOVE them, they have a low heel (shock horror) and are so comfy I can walk allllll day.  I love the colour and am sure they will become an extremely versatile addition to my shoe collection! The blazer is reasonably new as well, from Cue, a bit of a longer line than my other black blazer.

THE CLAW is also out to play again, as it the fish plait : )

A teeny bit of furrrrr

Hi everyone! Soooo, have you checked out my jewellery design HERE. The competition is nearly over and I would be so appreciative if you could vote for my design.  To vote just click the LIKE button just under my design- THANK YOU!

The Autumn leaves continue to fall and more and more skin is getting covered up! I've snuck a teeny bit of (faux) fur into this outfit- a $12 scarf from Target. So cute.  The shirt is a bargain as well, from BigW and three sizes too big, I tie it at the front to give a bit of shape.

A to Zebra

All black and white on this dreary Melbourne day, but don't worry folks... I added some funky earrings, a hippy hair-do, and even found a bright BLUE wall and a brolly to liven things up : )

And check out these shoes!!  Pony hair in a ZEBRA print! Love them to bits, especially with orange nail polish.
And here's the BLUE wall and dump posing ; )

Moomba & DIY

It's the Moomba Festival this long weekend in Melbourne, and it's HOT! Hubby and I grabbed our push bikes and headed in to join in the day's events.  These pics are in one of the fabulous graffiti lane ways in Melbourne.

The bracelet on my wrist I MADE! Learnt how to do this at HonetlyWTF.  I'm making more, experimenting with different size and colour hex nuts.

inspired...

Today I was inspired by beautiful blogger's Dajana at LE FLASH and Sydney at THE DAYBOOK. With an oversize shirt and booties, and belted scarf.  I'm not sure if I've got Sydney's scarf and belt situation sorted, but I love this look so will be sure to have another go soon.  NOW - time to show off some leg ; )

Headed out to play at Melbourne's iconic Queen Vic Markets which are a foodie heaven!
