Surfstitch

Dress- Sportsgirl (last season)
Adidas Superstars - Hype DC
Ray Ban sunnies- thanks to Vision Direct
Cuff & necklace - thanks to Najo jewellery

These pics are from a recent holiday to Palm Cove, just North of Cairns, QLD and that pool behind me is where we spent pretty much eight hours a day for a week! Safe to say Ash LOVED the pool.  He is still doing lots of imagining and make believe stories about us flying back to our 'new house' with the pool so we can go for a swim :)

Onto the outfit, a simple black slip dress is so perfect when it is hot, sunny and humid, and of course a hat a necessity.  I loved this iconic Deus cap I found at Surftitch, also grabbing it in the blue colour way.  I only thought of buying it last minute before the holiday and was so lucky that delivery was the next day, so I had it just in time!  Surfstitch have a great range of brands for the whole family, in fact I was so tempted to the get the Adidas Stan Smiths for Ash also! And I still might ;)

Skirt day

Have you entered my GIVEAWAY?  See my previous post, or click HERE!!

Off to the movies with my hubby on this cold and gloomy Melbourne winters day.  We saw the final Harry Potter movie- really great if anyone hasn't seen it yet (although I suspect I'm one of the last)!  Stopped for coffee before hand where my nerd glasses were tried on by all the cafe staff- hee hee.

I have realised that apart from at work, I hardly wear skirts at all so I will be making a concious effor to inject some more skirt action into my outfits : )  This one I picked up half price from Portmans last weekend- love it!!  Long sleeved black top, grey jumper and leather jacket are adding some warmth to this look.
Ring bling: c/o Coby June & The Fashion Writress, Rhapsody Design and vintage.
Steve Madden heels (current season), Skirt from Portmans, Zara jumper, Sportsgirl leather jacket
Nerd glasses from Borders Bookstore.

Remember, my fabulous readers, I have some MORE exciting things in store for you soon so.... STAY TUNED!

Another action packed day exploring Chinatown, the fascinating flower markets and going in search of the floating markets, never to be found.  Plently of chopped mango & pineapple with chilli sugar today- YUMMMM!  Have you tried it?
Hmmm some terrible shadows in this pic, but wanted to show you my dress. (by Sportsgirl)
Check out this dude- hanging out with the bags of flowers!

Thailand- Palaces, buddhas & wily strangers

BANGKOK!
Today we played in more markets, visited some temples and photographed the bejeebas out of the amazing Grand Palace.  If you ever visit be sure to watch out for those 'wily strangers'!
Dress by Sportsgirl, Kookai bag, Witchery sandals, assorted jewellery from markets
LOVE this pic. The mix of old and the modern.
A beautiful paper brolly from a street stall.  Was close to 40 degrees Celsius on this day so some extra shade was a must!

Thailand- All aboard for Bangkok!

Off to Koh Samui airport to catch a plane to crazy BANGKOK!  The Koh Samui airport is great, it's all open air, full of plants and they have drinks and snacks for everyone! mmmmmm
Dress by Sportsgirl, earrings from Diva (picked them up at Melbourne Airport on the way out) and Sportsgirl shoes.
The view flying into Bangkok- just a teeny bit of smog.  If you look carefully at the top you can see the highrise.
And here are some shoes some funky Bangkok local was wearing- too cool huh!
