Necklace: Thailand markets
Boots: Tony Bianco (simliar here)
Shirt: DeFry (similiar here)
Belt: Asos

Out to bruch at Maling Road, Camberwell with one of bestest friends from my uni days, also a Michelle!  My friend Michelle is very tall so at uni she was "Big Michelle", I am a shorty so was "little Michelle" and we also had a middle Michelle! The three of us were inseperable thoughout uni and it was always a laugh introducing ourselves to people. Ahh such FUN times!!!  Our nicknames "Big" and "little" have stuck with us to this day too : )

Well today I'm wearing jeggings... (what was that you say), jeggings... (say again), okay I admit it, I am wearing JEGGINGS!  I know these are probably a mortal fashion sin but if you had seen that darn sexy Supre ad getting around on the Melbourne trams you would want these too!!

p.s. Awesome, awesome giveaway coming soon!!!
p.p.s I notice I have used a lot of exclamation (!) marks in this post, hope I haven't alarmed you.  I've just had a pretty good week and am a tad excitable at the moment.

A teeny bit of furrrrr

Hi everyone! Soooo, have you checked out my jewellery design HERE. The competition is nearly over and I would be so appreciative if you could vote for my design.  To vote just click the LIKE button just under my design- THANK YOU!

The Autumn leaves continue to fall and more and more skin is getting covered up! I've snuck a teeny bit of (faux) fur into this outfit- a $12 scarf from Target. So cute.  The shirt is a bargain as well, from BigW and three sizes too big, I tie it at the front to give a bit of shape.

Vrrrrrrrr it's getting chilly as we head on into Autumn, the leaves are turning and the mornings are crisp. It's lovely.  My leather jacket has come out to play for the first time this year and boots are on show again too.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

This is the final blog post from hubby and my weekend away in Sydney (with carry on  luggage only- eek!).  I am sorry to say this is a HOPELESS outfit post but I hope you enjoy these pics regardless.  As you can see the shoes, blazer and scarf I mixed and matched right through the weekend (see Syyydney & Maannnly).  For pretty Sydney pics check out my Facebook page.

We caught the monorail and had dinner out in Sydney's China Town.  OH and when we got back to the motel they had left lovely chocolate dipped strawberries for us. Awwwwww!
If you would like to see some better outfit pics, the last time I wore this dress was HERE...
FYI, here's the other two weekend away outfits....

Syyydney!

Caught a plane to SYDNEY for a weekend away to celebrate hubby and my 8th wedding anniversary. Eight whole years, I can't believe it; but it really is sooooo wonderful being married to my hubby : )  I only had a carry-on bag so had to be a bit clever with my packing. This post and the next two will show my weekend away outfits- the leopard print scarf was my constant companion for the weekend as you will see.

Sydney was beautiful, the weather gorgeous, the harbour s p a r k l i n g.  Do you like that- I tried to make the word 'sparkling' sparkle, not a good job ; )

jeans day

I'm afraid after weeks of avoiding jeans I just had to go back to them, just once.  So comfy, so easy to wear, soooo didn't have to think too hard about my outfit!  I promise to mix it up again next post!!

Out for day shopping with my sis on Bridge Rd- bought some beautiful cream shorts which will no doubt be coming to a blog near you soon : )

inspired...

Today I was inspired by beautiful blogger's Dajana at LE FLASH and Sydney at THE DAYBOOK. With an oversize shirt and booties, and belted scarf.  I'm not sure if I've got Sydney's scarf and belt situation sorted, but I love this look so will be sure to have another go soon.  NOW - time to show off some leg ; )

Headed out to play at Melbourne's iconic Queen Vic Markets which are a foodie heaven!

lace ups

How cute are these lace up wedges, I'm in love with them!  They are so different to what I normally wear and soooo comfy.  A shoe I would never have considered until I saw a another girl try them on- they looked great! So my shoe envy resulted in a new purchase for me.  Great news though- I did get them on sale a few weeks after first spotting them : )

I've been having a play on Photoshop with these photos.  Let me know what you think- I'm still experimenting with techniques.  I've copied the tips from one of my favourite blogs 'The Daybook' (http://tandsdaybook.blogspot.com/).

Thanks to my wonderful hubby for taking my photos!  Much better than the usual timer & tripod.

wedding daze

Firstly, thanks for all the great comments on my last post. It's great to hear from you.

Here I am at my beautiful cousin Sami's summer wedding. This dress I wore as a bridesmaid back in June 2010 so it was really great that I could get another wear out of this one!- a big thanks to my bride for choosing such a lovely dress for her bridesmaids : )  It's from Cooper St and bought at Swish Clothing on Chapel Street, South Yarra.

These are really, really, really great shoes from Tony Bianco!  I have the same pair in black because they are just so great.  This colour is great for leg lengthening.
