These pics are in Perth, I popped over there for the weekend to visit my hubby who is there for work. We had two lovely days together, the first day exploring the city and Kings Park, the second day we went to the Zoo! Was such fun just observing the animals- the Tigers were the best with one having a nap pressed right up against the glass, and the other chasing a pigeon around his enclosure! Slow Loris had us laughing for ages : )

Cocktail Revolution: Station Domination at Southern Cross
The Station DOMINATION!
You really can't miss it.
Fabulous bar men Ben and Tim, and a very cool goodie bag (drink, fruit & recipe card).
And just below the incredible interactive screen!
Orange POP was my mix of the day.
Today I was invited to attend the Schweppes Cube Bar at Melbourne's Southern Cross Station as part of the Schweppes Cocktail Revolution Station Domination. And let me tell you I had a ball!
For a couple of hours I hung out with Tim and Ben, who were dressed up in their fabulous yellow braces, handing out goodie bags to the public and talking people through the incredible interactive screen which can see just above... you pop on your piece of fruit (which the screen actually KNOWS), pop on your drink of choice (the screen KNOWS this too!) and BAM, it tells you what drink to mix.
I was pretty darn impressed!!

Anyone for a cocktail?
Spring is here, daylight savings has kicked in, Summer is just around the corner... can't you picture it, a balmy evening, chilling with friends with a delicious cocktail. Enough of the cosy evenings with a red wine in hand, it's time to get creative and embrace some exciting mixes!
A cocktail doesn't have to be complicated- you have to admit my favourite recipe here is easy as pie.
To help us get creative Schweppes are setting up a station domination at Southern Cross Station, Melbourne 7am to 7pm each day this week for you to give it a try! Schweppes will be giving away bags with a Schweppes mixer, cocktail recipe card and a piece of fruit so YOU can get mixing at home! There will be plenty of prizes up for grabs there too.

I am indeed fortunate enough to have 20/20 vision so don't need glasses but I still love adding some spectacles to my look now and again for a geek-chic look, and you have to admit these cotton candy retro style cat-eye glasses are pretty darn fun!
