Melbournite

Kyla Boxy Knit top - Soon Maternity
Jeans- Jeanswest
Boots- Wittner (similar here)
Ray Ban sunnies- thanks to VisionDirect

This outfit for today started with these gorgeous boots, I really wanted to get in some more wears before the weather starts warming up! Mind you in Melbourne this week warmer weather still seems to be a long, long way off and coats are definitely still in high rotation.

This knit is one of my old maternity pieces which I have found to be quite versatile. Last seen on the blog when I was 9 months pregnant and freaking huge!  It's still available at Soon in black and navy, and is currently on sale.  (And for the record no I am not pregnant!)

Ray-Ban Round

Heels - Wittner (last season, similar here)
Patterned Tassel Top - Seed Heritage
Jeans - Jeanswest
Cuffs - H&M (old)
Earrings - Lovisa

Hip Hooray! Spring is here!! It feels like it has been a long, cold Winter in Melbourne so I could not be happier.  The blossoms are on the trees and the days are gradually getting warmer.

Any of you whom have followed my blog for a while will know I love Ray-Ban aviators, but today, and also recently seen here, I've branched out to the round style for something different. I really like the Boho vibe about them and with this particular pair am obsessed with this pretty rose gold shade- or 'brown mirror pink' according to the Vision Direct website!

Light Hearts

Bomber - Dotti (old)
Prima jeans - Jeanswest
Rayban- thanks to VisionDirect.com.au

It seems bomber jackets are back in style, which means this little jacket that I've had for yonks (at least 7 years!) is back in rotation.  Paired today with this gorgeous camisole Nearly Nude's latest range called 'Light Hearts'.  As you can see its a mesh fabric with this pretty flocked design which feels like velvet.  It fits beautifully and is unbelievable soft and comfortable! Also available is a matching bikini and boy leg briefs.

I also have the Firming Microfibre slip and between that and these Light Hearts pieces I'm really impressed at the comfort and quality.

Long grey cardigan

Cardigan- thanks to Jeanswest
Jeans- Jeanswest
Tee- Asos
Molan boots- thanks to Misano Shoes
Sunnies- Sportsgirl

This is the same Jeanswest wool cardigan you saw a couple of posts ago HERE, paired with a grey knit dress and over the knee boots.  Today a completely different look with black jeans and flat boots;

Speaking of the boots they are new in from Misano and as expected are an absolutely beautiful shoe, amazing quality and made in Portugal. I love this 'date' colour and the low cut ankle is a very flattering.  Being leather and leather lined with a low heel I have found they are really comfy and are a boot I can easily wear all day and walk for miles in.

They also come in black and navy (I think I need all three colours!) and can be found online and instore at Zomp.

Jeanswest Australian Wool Collection

Paris knit dress - Jeanswest
Alice cardigan - thanks to Jeanswest
Ebbony boots- Wittner (last season)
Necklace - thanks to Najo

Jeanswest latest collection for Autumn/Winter 2016, featuring pure Australian wool and extra fine Merino wool, is some of their best work.  And given the chill in the air lately, the timing couldn't be better. The value for money given these pieces are 100% wool is truly incredible and the quality exceptional.  I have seen acrylic versions of both this dress and cardigan elsewhere and they have been far more pricey.

I've been on the hunt for a dress that I could wear with over the knee boots and this is finally the one. I think it would also look great with black ankle boots and a leather jacket or even white Stan Smith's more an easy casual look.

The cardigan is another amazingly versatile piece, the wool is thick and super warm and a nice alternative to a blazer of a coat.  I know this piece is definitely going to be on high rotation and looks just as good layered over a shift dress as it does jeans.

On another note, anyone got any tips to make my boots stay up?!

Pink

Top - Sportsgirl (similar here)
Heels- Boohoo (similar here)
Sunnies - RayBan

It was such a windy day at the Docklands and South Wharf on Anzac Day.  I have no idea why I attempted wearing my hair out, but anyhoo, SO good to have some sunshine and short sleeve weather in April, in Melbourne!

My mission for visiting the Docklands was to visit a new park I had heard about, Ron Barassi Senior Park. SO cool check this pic HERE.  Talk about a view, plus the slides are really steep and fast!  Just saying, I may have deafened poor little Ash, who was in my lap, with my screams as we went down.

I can hear you thinking, were you seriously at a playground in those heels? And truthfully, no I wasn't.  I wore black espadrilles for playing and walking and then we stopped at South Wharf for lunch and pics (and heels).
