I've picked two of their winter essentials- Winter Boots and The Overcoat to create my Winter look.  It was a reasonably mild day so I embraced the opportunity to mix them with bare legs, a basic stripe dress and scarf; but these boots and coat would so easily work with a simple pair of jeans, or a long sleeve dress and black opaques.  There is no doubt I'll be wearing these two pieces heaps this Winter.

Mix Baby

Baby socks, baby singlets, baby bibs, baby wraps, baby towels... all apart of now what is on offer as part of the Coles Mix Baby essentials range available at  Coles stores across Australia from this month.  Makes it so easy for us time poor mums- we can just grab our baby essentials as part of the grocery shop!

The quality is great and everything is priced between $4 and $12.

And yes that is my dear little boy, Ashley road testing the socks and wrap above. He's 2 months old today!! For all of my wonderful readers, I just want to let you know that I intend to keep this still as predominately a fashion blog, but Ash is such a HUGE part of my life he's bound to pop up now and again :)  He will however make more of a regular appearance on my Instagram feed.

Cost Per Wear

It's getting cold here in Melbourne so time to don the boots and layers!  These spiked ankle boots are new in and available exclusively at Novo stores in Westfield centres.   

A black ankle boot is so versatile, and these have a great heel height making them really quite comfortable, and who could go past the heavy metal look.  They are a perfect match with skinny jeans in any colour, leather leggings, or perhaps a cute dress and black opaques.  Priced at $89.95 that really are good value and to prove it Westfield have created a Cost Per Wear (CPW) calculator.  Just input the price, how often you'll wear them (2 times/week), how long you'll keep them (they'll last for years but I'll calculate just for the rest of this Autumn/Winter season), maintenance costs (none for these boots)... that means these boots come in at $5.18 per wear. Great for those of us who want to be on trend, and on budget for this Autumn/Winter!
