Coconut Revolution

I've heard so many wonderful things about coconut oil so was excited to see what all the fuss was about thanks to Coconut Revolution.

Coconut Revolution have a range products made with the all-natural goodness of cold-pressed, virgin coconut oil.  Available exclusively online, this Australian owned brand has four ranges- Hair Revolution, Body Revolution, Skin Revolution and Dietary Revolution.  I have had a play with products from three of these ranges which I think are fabulous.

I have been slathering on generously the coconut body cream after a showering, its a lovely rich moisturising cream, almost like a body butter- so luxurious.  The Coconut Intensive Hydrating Serum is designed to balance the skin's natural oils and I've been using it of an evening underneath my night moisturiser.  And finally the Hair Serum, a nice light weight formula which I have been massaging through the ends of my (rather neglected) hair after washing.  I also love the idea that this is a natural product that is environmentally sustainable.

Sporty

Nike pants ($50)
Lorna Jane top  ($30)

I'm sure many of us have new years resolutions around fitness, getting in shape, or being active in general.   I'm aiming to go for a 5km run during Ash's morning sleep when my husband is home, if he isn't I'll do a pilates DVD in front of the TV.   Personally, I find that fabulous workout gear can be the perfect motivator and Uni Hill Factory Outlets is just the place to get that gear at great prices.  They have a good range of shops which stock sporting apparel all at up to 70% off retail prices including Adidas, Converse, Fila, Kathmandu, Lonsdale, Lorna Jane, Nike, Podium Sports, Puma and Russell Athletic.

I love these basic black pants, and Nike had plenty of options for under $50.  In fact the Nike store at Uni Hill is the largest Nike outlet store.  This Lorna Jane top is lovely and cool to wear and although it was already marked down, the price came down even further at the checkout! Bargains galore!!

Earthwise

I have something a little differnt from my usual blog post to share today, and that is Earthwise laundry products.  Earthwise is NZ's leading all-natural producer of powerful plant and mineral based cleaning products, and they have just landed on Australian shelves.  So wonderful for us Aussies to have access to laundry products that are environmentally kind and gentle on the skin!

All their products are phosphate, nitrate, chlorine and ammonia free. And by choosing Earthwise, you are also helping reduce the level of toxic chemicals in our waterways and oceans.

I must admit that I tend to use whatever laundry powder is on sale, cheapest or catches my eye in the supermarket but I have been very happy with the result with Earthwise products.  Our clothes, including my usually pumpkin and carrot stained baby's clothes with their dirty knees, as well as my husbands work clothes have been coming up beautifully clean.  I had a couple of pieces which I soaked over night in 1/2 a scoop before putting them in the wash as usual- the stains came right out!

The scoop is easily half the size of the regular size scoop, so the product will last you twice as long.  As Earthwise say, 37 washes for $7.99 (less than 22 cents/wash).
