I am so excited to be finally sharing this news with you...
I'M PREGNANT!!!
In fact I am now 21 weeks pregnant, so past the half-way mark with bub due to arrive on 1 April 2013- yes my baby will indeed be an April Fool ; )
I've kept it quiet for the last couple of months as we still had some family we wanted to tell in person. And NOW I can also finally I can also explain why I was MIA throughout July/August/Sept- first trimester was a little rough with me turning an unpleasant shade of green and transforming into the amazing vomit girl. Not fun- really not fun! Thank you all for your patience with me during that time. Now I am thankfully feeling great, loving my new and completely different figure and so incredibly excited about our impending arrival!!
So what now for Michelle's Style File you ask? Well, I won't be turning all mummy blogger on you, but you can expect to me to continue sharing my outfits- baby bump and all : )
This dress is one of three maternity pieces I have bought- yep that it is (thus far). This dress, a black pencil skirt for work and black Mavi jeans which will hopefully take me from work to play. Three items I think I will be able to get great value for money for over the next few months! Two more items I must track down quick smart is an outfit for my sisters picnic wedding in 2.5 weeks and some more respectable swimming togs. Any suggestions are very welcome!!

ReplyDeleteI am literally due in 2 days, having my caesarian (despite me wanting a natural birth) my OB is worried my blood pressure could get high and the baby is in breech so we're whipping him out of the oven at 39.5 weeks!!!
I've absolutely LOVED being pregnant, sure there have been some downsides but I have loved it so much, I'm going to miss it!!!
My advise for togs, go to queenbee maternity... I did a post on mummy pregnancy shopping sites, I've done lots of "list" posts will make a tab on my sidebar probably tonight (you've reminded me) with easy access to the posts.
Hatch Maternity is GORGEOUS but a little $$, you can get it directly from their site or shopbop, SB has much quicker delivery. Their delivery is 2 weeks.
I'm just so happy for you, for some reason the other day I had a feeling you were pregnant. No idea why.
One of my gf's teaches preggy belly classes in your area, highly rec if you're into that sort of thing!

That's beautiful!! BIG congrats to you, you look gorgeous and healthy!! I remember the sickness, not fun at all. I look forward to all your outfits, bump and all! And I'm glad your not going to turn this into a mummy blogger page, I don't mind them, but sometimes I run away from those blogs as they stress me out, haha! It's enough stress with two girls of my own and then have to read about the stresses of someone else's kids! I don't mid giving an ear to them, but sometimes it's too much!!
