I had my hair cut, and thought I best make the most of an excellent hair situation by wearing a new dress and heading out!  The babysitter fell through, so all three of us went out for an early dinner.  A lovely Summer evening and I'm always up for an excuse to dress up.

This dress, bought full price (!), is now on sale :/ I can't spot the navy option online however I saw plenty in store just this week, also the coral and white options. Despite already having done a bit of damage to the credit card with the Boxing Day sales I'm really tempted to get this dress in white as well... it would look so good with tan wedges... hmmmmm, actually so would the coral!

I will also point out my name necklace.  I love this look, of course originally worn by Carrie in the Sex in the City.  This one is from oNecklace who has have a range of very affordable personalised jewellery.

On another note, how cute is this denim jumpsuit with it's cheeky cut out back and wide cropped legs!! I wore it all day Sunday with flat sandals and then popped on these heels for the photos for a more dressed up look.   Plus it has the deepest,biggest pockets which are pretty handy when your son likes to carry a small fleet of planes around with him ;)  And yes the zipper does go all the way up at the back, but clearly I got distracted mid zip and my photographer, i.e. husband didn't notice. lol

It also comes in a lighter denim wash and black but those were sold out in my size.  A white version is also available.

Here I am with my mini-me, my two year old son Ash, and wearing our matching Salt Water sandals!  I have to say I love these sandals, made from leather they mold to your feet for comfort and fit, and they LOVE getting wet!!  Toddlers LOVE getting wet too so it has to be perfect toddler sandal.  You can also throw them in the washing machine, these sandals are that tough.

Salt Water sandals have been around for over 70 years, which proves they are such a classic style. And Ash and I are both getting heaps of wear out of them. This cute tank dress is new in at Queen Bee Maternity, just in time for Summer.  Straight up I will say I AM NOT pregnant, however having been pregnant not that long ago, well 2 years and 8 months to be precise, I can tell you this dress would've been SO perfect.  I had a black dress and a blue striped dress in a similar style which I wore to death. The hot pink and white stripes makes this dress such a fun option.  Also, I am no longer breastfeeding, although I did for two years, so with that in mind I can highly recommend this dress for you breastfeeding mamas. With snap buttons at the shoulders and an inner crop layer it would make discreet breastfeeding easy.  If you are interested in sizes, I am wearing a size XS and am usually a size 6.  As you can see it is quite loose on me here so plenty of room for belly!

Despite it being the end of November, it's still quite cool here in Melbourne so I have layered this dress today with a utility jacket, and kept it simple with white Converse.
